Legalley+ at Superyacht Investor London 2026

Legalley+ had the pleasure of attending Superyacht Investor London 2026 last March 3rd and 4th, 2026 in London, no doubr, one of the key events for the superyacht industry, bringing together investors, operators, service providers, and industry experts. The conference offered insightful panels, productive discussions, and, perhaps most importantly, the opportunity for face-to-face exchanges, networking, and building meaningful connections across the industry.

We enjoyed engaging with fellow professionals and appreciated the vibrant environment that allowed us to share perspectives and explore new opportunities. Events like this reinforce the importance of personal interaction and collaboration in a sector as dynamic and international as superyachting, and at Legalley+ we remain committed to providing our clients with practical, reliable legal and tax guidance in this evolving market.

Among the highlights were also really vibrant, dynamic and energetic panels such as:

  1. “Has globalism failed?” (above in the picture): From left to right,  John Leonida (Wordley Partnership), Robb Maass (Alley, Maass, Rogers & Lindsay), Bob Allen (Robert Allen Law) and Luca Lanzalone (LC&P). Intervention was free, so no moderator, which was really not needed as they are all very used to discuss on relevant topics and extremely polite.

The panel explored the evolving geopolitical landscape and its impact on the superyacht industry.

  1. “Understanding ownership structures” (below in the picture): From left to right: Hugo Jacquot (Fort Insurance), Richard Elliott (Boodle Hatfield), Bruce Maltwood (Praxis), Umberto Bonavita (Robert Allen Law), and Sarah Allan (Penningtons Manches Cooper), who acted as moderator.

The panel explored the different corporate ownership structure for yachts, the choice of jurisdictions and SPV types and the Management/Control and the use of Nominees.
